Preferences during perception of ambiguous figures among preschool children
Abstract
Our research shows that non-ambiguous stimuli are preferred to ambiguous stimuli among preschool children. We also found that children who call both interpretations of a reversible figure, prefer these images in comparison with children who don't call both interpretations. One of the key factors of non-ambiguous preference is lack of details in ambiguous figures.
Keywords: ambiguous figures, reversible figures, visual perception, preschool children, processing fluency.
