Abstract

The article reveals the role of the operational image in the regulation of joint activities. The knowledge of the orienting mode of action is supplemented as a system of conditions, to which a person is guided while performing actions individually by the data on the indicative part of the joint activity. The research succeeded in using unique experimental dynamically unfolding conditions of sports activity and tracing how contradictions between the executive act and the object of joint activity, between the given condition and the executive act, are removed through the operational image. The unity of qualitative and quantitative research methods is involved, indicators of the indicative part of joint actions in the situation of intergroup interaction of sports teams are highlighted. It is shown that the effectiveness of joint activities depends on the type of content of the operational image, which is transformed from the degree of generality of the information (reference points) entering into it, from the completeness of the reflection of the benchmarks of conditions, means and joint operations that objectively determine the success of the command action. The operational image of joint activity should contain information about all the components of the action: the original subject, the final product, the means, the composition and the order of the operations. The data are confirmed by the connection of the content of the operational image with specific executive actions and game statistics of the athletes.
